This is a pretty neat site that I saw recommended on #edchat...check it out--it may also get us thinking more about our discussion on "Laptops in the Classrooms"
That is a really neat site. I enjoyed looking through it! Also I am not exactly sure how I feel on laptops in the classroom. Growing up I did have them in the classroom as they were provided by the school. They would be helpful in researching and things like that. Although I would find myself getting distracted...that is until they blocked most of the cites that distracted me! haha

Speaking of blocking certain sites...I read an article today, which I will blog about next week, that talked about how over half of the U.S. work places have blocked social networks! That is GREAT...at least in my eyes...people spend enough time at home on Facebook and all that so to be banned at work is completely ok...I don't think ANYONE would be surfing Facebook or MySpace for something that will enhance what they're doing at work...they will go on to mess around and waste time.
